Irani Cafes in Pune: 5 Must-Visit Bun Maska and Irani Chai Joints
The smell of the freshly-baked buns loaded with butter within, dipped in sweet milky chai, a flaky khari biscuit and an old world charm are just a few things that make Irani cafés special. Recently, the number of iconic Irani cafés seem to be on the decline in Mumbai due to lack of demand and rising costs, but looking at the large queue outside Irani cafes in Pune, it doesn’t seem like this city will see such a fate anytime soon.
In this post, I’ve listed down some of the popular must-visit Irani cafes in Pune where you can get a lip-smacking bun-maska and chai.
